mutely I am excited by the clean, white surface of the canvas. While I listen to these Latin, Brazilian and smooth jazz rhythms, I “dance” back and forth from the paint to the surface and back again, over and over, engaging the surface without thought or planning…just feeling the excitement. This love affair begins and is deeply satisfying and rich.

Beau Wild is a native Floridian. She graduated from Tufts University, attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and lived in New England until her return to Florida in 1983. She has shown her work widely in outdoor festivals along the East Coast of the US and in Florida Museums and Galleries. These include the Museum of Florida Art, Florida Museum for Women Artists, Brevard Art Museum, ARC Gallery at the Museum of Science & Industry, Seminole State College of Florida and Ormond Memorial Art Museum.
